Introducing Ultimate Bodyworks Ltd
What is your business and where are you based?
Ultimate Bodyworks Ltd, based at the Ultimate Sanctuary, Little End Rd, Eaton Socon, St Neots
It is a beauty and aesthetics business specialising in 2 main areas;
1. 3D Lipo – this is non-surgical, non-invasive, pain free and no down time permanent fat removal, skin tightening and cellulite reduction. Lots of “celebs” use these treatments for bum lifts etc. We also provide 3D Lipo Skintech anti-ageing and anti-pigmentation face treatments using microdermabrasion, electro-mesotherapy, skin tightening and LED light therapy.
2. Cryosthetics – the Cryo IQ pen – used to freeze off skin conditions such as skin tags, milia, cherry angiomas, warts, verrucas and pigmentation (so age spots, sun spots etc)
How long have you been in business and how did your business come about?
Been in business just over a year. Was a teacher for 21 years – for too many reasons I decided to leave a few years ago and knew I wanted to be my own boss and help people. A friend advised looking at 3D Lipo, I researched it, it fitted in with my two main aims, and it just felt right, so I decided to go for it.
What is your role in the business?
Owner and therapist, and everything else that needs to be done running your own business!
Who are your typical customers?
Mostly women – although I have had a few men which has been encouraging. Ranging from early 20’s to ladies in their 50’s and 60’s.
What do you love most about being in business?
Talking to lovely people all day every day. And by talking to them, learning. Always learning. And I love the look on their faces when they finish their course and see the results. I have just as big a smile on my face as they do.
What are the biggest challenges you face or have faced in your business?
Our location. It’s a beautiful setting with 6 beauty, health and aesthetics businesses working collaboratively, with free parking for clients. But….. we are tucked away in an industrial estate, we were only established last summer and so getting people to know we exist has been the toughest challenge.
Where do you see your business in 5 years?
Offering the latest treatments, aesthetics is always developing and improving, it’s an exciting arena.
What’s the best bit of advice you can give to other business owners?
Get a support network around you of like-minded people, people you can share your wins with, but also your fears, who will be able to advise, who you trust, who will support you in your scary times, and keep going, keep putting yourself out there and try new things that take you out of your comfort zone.
Finally, where can we find your business and how can we connect with you?
